?? September 19, 2026 – 9/11 Heroes Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run: 5:00 AM–9:00 AM ?
Join Wildcat Ranch Phoenix in supporting the 9/11 Heroes Run 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, September 19 with the Travis Manion Foundation, at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. Check-in and the opening ceremony begin at 5:30 AM, with the race starting at 7:00 AM. This inspiring event honors the heroes of September 11 while supporting veterans, first responders, military families, and the families of the fallen. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles throughout the morning, making this a great opportunity to serve alongside our community and help create a meaningful experience for participants. We will be have the honor of handing out the medals at the finish line! Snacks will be provided. Depending on the weather, we will take a couple of our therapy animals.  We need 10 volunteers. We will be leaving the ranch at 4:30am if we take the animals, otherwise, you can meet us at 6:00am at the race start.
