At the core of who I am, I find much solace in the service to others within my community. For the last decade, I have discovered a passion for domestic violence and trafficking survivors, so much so, I currently sit on the City of Phoenix Mayor's Trafficking Taskforce. Advocating, educating, and serving in this special community. I also harbor profound respect for our service members and Veterans. As a mother to a Retired Marine, I am all too familiar with the prevalence of suicide among our Armed Forces and the ripple effects the finality of this decision carries. As an Arizona Co-State Leader for Mission 22, a registered non-profit dedicated to the healing of our warriors, raising awareness, attending events, and networking with like-minded members in the community, has become my personal mission.
